Hi all.
I have an ionic and I’ve just rejoined the gym. I understand why it doesn’t pick up that im using the stair machine. However, why does it not pickup that I’m doing another activity.
Ive normally left my ionic to pick up when I’m doing activities. It picks up treadmill, bike and elliptical etc no worries. But blank when it comes to stairs???

@K_Sayrah If it helps there is a preprogrammed exercise which can be added to your Ionic's exercise shortcuts. You can only have a maximum of 7 shortcuts at any one time so you may have to chop and change about to add stairclimber in.

@K_Sayrah There are several stair climber designs, some with moving arms and some with handrails. Wrist bases trackers need a certain amount of wrist movement to track activity. So if you are holding handrails, your Ionic might not be able to sense activity (other than your heart rate) to auto-recognize activity that would fall into the catch all Aerobic Workout.
If you are not holding handrails, then I agree that you should get SOMETHING and I am not sure why it is not tracking. You should follow @Tony.r 's advice. Put Stairclimber on your Exercise Shortcuts and track it using the Exercise Mode.
