So, my Fitbit ionic has suddenly started draining battery very fast. First it used to go along for 6 to 7 days but now after one charge it gets discharged in just one day.

I have the exact same problem. I charged it to a 100% twice, discharged to 0% within 4 hours. Factory reset it twice. Deleted and installed the app twice. I even reached out to the clock face developer without any success.

My Ionic started doing this yesterday as well. I’m following this I hopes we all get a resolution.

Mine seems to really drain like crazy if I am doing a GPS monitored exercise like biking.  Could be at 100% before starting a 2 hour ride and it drains it 30 percent in just that time.

So looks like function has returned to normal. I did a couple factory resets. Eventually I just left it in a drawer for a couple days until it was completely dead. Maybe dried the sweat or water from swimming out? 

 

I will monitor for the next few weeks.
