The Ionic is being advertised as a powerful running watch, but seems to be designed more for people embarking on their first couch to 5km.
With its array of sensors, couldn't we get some more advanced (and accurate) running data and metrics? I imagine this would only require a simple software tweak.
I'd like to be able to see my cadence in real time, for example (steps/min). I'd also like to be able to choose a power-saving display (without the bright, big and ugly yellow central number) that displays at least four metrics onscreen: time elapsed, distance, instantaneous pace, and average pace.
Come on, Fitbit! As this is a core feature it's not something that we can wait for an external app developer to fix.

What running features would you like to see, other users?

I agree. At least four metrics on the screen so you don’t have to scroll during your runs.
