My ionic just stopped working all of a sudden. The screen went black and won't turn on, but it appears to still be connected to my app. The alarm still goes off in the morning, but absolutely nothing comes on the screen. According to the app the battery is charged, but no lights, and a blackened screen. I have contacted support and I have done all the steps but nothing is working. Any suggestions, or anyone know of a place that fixes these?

Repairs are not possible.

Is it acceptable that a $250 watch cannot be repaired? I had a Surge that died in 18 months. I fall for the coupon and buy the Ionic. Very nice for 18 months then it just goes dead. Fitbit should be able to fix these. This is very aggressive planned obsolescence. I see a huge number of these dead Ionic posts. I opened a thread too. I want to see if there is any remediation beyond "buy another one". I have been a really good fitbit customer over many years. I am going to go to Garmin Forerunner if I don't get satisfaction on this in the next day. Maybe Fitbit is OK for $99 step trackers that people don't mind chucking, but the higher end multi-sport watch market - not so much.
