Spoiler

release 27.32.10.20 , why can't we get this fixed ?  I am about to go back to Garmin, at least they had perfect sync times after a workout it went right to my workout app.  This Ionic is only good for getting it wet!  Lately it will not Sync and i am a IT guy for 20 years I have seen some stuff that pisses me off but i would find a fix for it, but this dman Ionic is really taking the cake!!   Is there any fix for this thing?  anew firmware or OS?   can anyone help?   it worked 8 months ago ok wise, but it still took like 35 minutes for my workout to be seen on strava!!

Unfortunately, syncing issues do seem to happen from time to time, usually without any apparent cause.

The steps I take to get things going again are: restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Give this a few tries as it doesn't always work. You might also try forgetting the fitbit in your phone's bluetooth settings. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more ideas to try in this help file: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/

As it says in there, if none of those steps help then it's probably best to contact customer support to see if they can spot what's happening from the server side: contact.fitbit.com

I'm not sure what is ment by pair the Fitbit @Jfitman, pairing to the phone can not be done by the user but is done by the Fitbit app if it needs to be paired. Note that to sync the tracker does not need to be paired to an Android phone.

One thing that has helped many is to unpair the tracker from the phones bluetooth list
