Hi, I have tried rebooting my Bluetooth, Fitbit, Fitbit app, phone and deleted the app then added it again. I have done the factory resetting on the ionic and every step suggested trough out the web but nothing works. I had to try connecting the ionic for the factory resetting for about 3 hours when it finally got trough. It smells a lot like a hardware issue. I have the same problem when connecting to my pc. Anyone got the same issue and managed to fix it?

Hi @twinboymama, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To better assist you and further investigate, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using with your Ionic? When was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? Are you using another Bluetooth device at the same time or there are other Bluetooth devices that may cause interference between your phone and the Fitbit? Is this affecting the syncing process or are you not receiving notifications?
Looking forward to your reply.

Confirming this issue as well...
Have duplicated on my Fitbit Ionic across multiple Android devices (Samsung Galaxy S9, Nokia 9 PureView, and now Google Pixel 4a).
Upon initial setup, notifications work and there are no issues with synchronization of activites.
After setting up any other Bluetooth devices (which are NOT connected to the phone), the Fitbit only synchronizes when I go into the Fitbit app and manually kick off a sync.

Nice to know I’m not the only one who tests everything to find a solution.
I got a new issue today, the ionic won’t work without charger connected. I’m going in to get it fixed tomorrow if I find the receipt. Nice to live in Norway where we have a 3 year complaint we can use.

Hi,
I´m having the same issues.
Did everything what twinboymama did, too. I even used a differnt phone (iPhone 7) to check if the problem was with my iPhone X.
I already had my ionic replaced cause of vibrating issues.
Has this problem beeb solved yet?
