My ionic will not sync. It states that there is a problem connecting to bluetooth. I had this issue yesterday and recieved notification that it had been fixed. I checked and it was good. But last night it started again
Best AnswerMay I ask what type of device you use to sync the Ionic,?
The error the other day was with the WiFi.
Was the error bluetoothBnot connected displayed on the Fitbit app? Or the ionic, which would not make sense.
I have a samsung note 8 and it is showing on the app that it is a bluetooth error. It was corrected with the last fix but the issue started again a few hours later
Best AnswerFirst thing I would try is to turn the Bluetooth on the phone off. wait a few seconds and turn it back on .
Now try a sync.
Still no go .
Clear the bluetooth cache. Do not clear data .and iIassume your running Oreo .
Try a phone restart.
I actually fully reset my Samsung Note 8. I just tried to reset the ionic as well and now I cant us it at all. It just continues to say on the app that there are Bluetooth issues.
Best AnswerResetting the ionic I would not expect to fix a bt error on the phone, or is the Bluetooth error being reported on the ionic.
Generally a restart of the phone and clearing the cash, plus having the Kate's Fitbit and phone updates will fix things. I assume that the ionic doesn't show as connected to the Bluetooth.
So then what's the solution for this problem? I'm having the same issue with mine but I have an IPhone.
Thanks
Best AnswerOne thing is to report that to Fitbit support!
I'm also wondering why Fitbit has a lot of connection settings instead of one.
Bluetooth is not a new technologie and is a standard.
I have a lot of BT products and only Fitbit is not stabel. And I have a "compatible" smartphone!
An other workaround is to install a separate Bluetooth pair app.
Or you can do every day a reconnection, resets or so on.
Is that possible to create a batch for that?

Mark
