Hello @Lyudmilla, since I'm an iOS guy, I'm going to use the Fitbit Help article to provide some assistance:

ANDROID PHONE

Syncing difficulty is usually caused by a missing requirement. Verify each requirement before moving on to the troubleshooting steps.

  • The Fitbit app is installed on a supported phone or tablet.
  • The latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone or tablet.
  • Your phone has a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection.
  • The Fitbit app is allowed to run in the background on your phone.
  • The Bluetooth setting on your phone is on. To check, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
  • Your software on your phone is up to date. To check, tap Settings > About Phone or About Device > Android Version.
  • You have location services turned on and the Fitbit app has permission to access your location. For more information see, Why is the Fitbit app prompting me to turn on location services?
  • If you use more than one device to sync, make sure the other device isn't nearby. If the device is nearby, turn off Bluetooth on it.
  • Your phone isn't managing other Bluetooth connections.
  • Your phone doesn't have a syncing issue listed
  • Your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.
  • The firmware on your Fitbit device is up to date?

Depending your phone, these tips might make syncing easier:

  • Turn on the Always Connected option in the Fitbit app. This setting improves the Bluetooth connection between your phone and Fitbit device. Note that turning on this feature may cause the battery on your Fitbit device to drain more quickly than normal.
  • Turn on All-Day Sync in the Fitbit app. This setting prompts your Fitbit device to periodically sync with the Fitbit app but may shorten battery life on your phone or Fitbit device.

If your Fitbit device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit and then reopen the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device won't sync after you reinstall the app, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  7. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone and try to sync.

I find out that

The only way I can make my Ionic synchronize with my phone is:

- restart watch

- turn off and on phone ( not restart phone)

- turn off and  on Bluetooth

and only after that it will synch.

This is terrible!

Plus I still have battery and memory  drain issue on my phone.

Hello @Lyudmilla, quick question; do you have a computer with Bluetooth in your somewhat immediate area, when this problem is happening?

Yes I do right now. But my watch did not synch from 3 P.M and I was outside playing pickleball without any computer around. Because it was not synch - it show incorrect time.

Hello @Lyudmilla, here are a couple suggestions:

1.  Your Ionic can ONLY connect to "ONE" Bluetooth device at a time.  I suspect that it is connecting to your computer, after it loses the connection with your phone.  Once it connects to the computer, you will NOT be able to sync your Ionic back to your phone, until you drop the connection to the computers Bluetooth, which is what you are unknowingly doing (IMO).  See your Ionic will connect to the closest and "Strongest" Bluetooth.

2.  Are you using Windows 10 or a Mac/iMac?

NOTE:  Please let me know the current time on you Ionic and the time zone you are in.  Just want to see how off the time actually is...

Please reply when your able and Thanks!

Hello @Lyudmilla, I have a few more sync remidy suggestions that have worked for many Android users.

Clear the Fitbit Apps Cache

Swipe unnecessary apps out of memory .

Kill the Fitbit app through the Phones settings, swipeing off screen will not kill app .

Make sure your phone has all requested updates and the Fitbit app is up to date .

As for distance, provided all day sync is on, there should be no problems syncing if the phone and tracker are within 30 feet. I usually get notifications at 50+ feet, but my BT 5.0 is rated at 150 feet.

I send my watch to fitbit and waiting for replacement one. The problem started a week ago and watch did not show correct time.
