Bluetooth paring

Hello,

I was wondering does my Ionic have to be paired with my iPhone all the time?

I see that this is impacting my battery and wonder does it have to be connected to the phone all the time or is it enough to connect it once a day, will my activities and trackings be OK?

You only need to connect it via bluetooth to sync and your ionic has enough memory to store data for up to a week between syncs so connecting it once a day will be fine. Note though that if you turn bluetooth off you won't be able to make use of the notifications of calls etc
