My left button is not working. I tried clearly around it. Does anyone know how I can change so that a button on the right becomes the home button. Watch is only about 1 1/2 years old. I take really good care of it, I have idea why the left side stop working.

Hello @LovelyK, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, let me give you a hand with the button of your Fitbit Ionic.
Thanks for your effort and patience cleaning your device prior to posting. You may be able to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the device at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button. After taking in consideration the previous steps, please try to restart your Ionic.
Please let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Having the same problem with my Versa ... as have others. Seems a bit more than a one off issue and more like a common fault.

Unfortunately, with a back button that doesn't work I can't even restart my ionic; so your suggestion is rubbing a little salt in the wound. I just have to let it run out of battery to get it to shut down.

Welcome to the Community Forums @imwendy.
Thanks for trying the troubleshooting steps that were shared on my previous post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the button is not working because it's stuck or just not functioning as it should? You can turn off your device by following the steps that are specified on: How do I turn off my Fitbit device?
Looking forward to your reply.

If I turn my fitbit off following the procedure listed, and my back button doesn't work, how will I turn the fitbit back on? I did get the back button to respond last night by standing the ionic on the left button on a hard surface and leaning on it. Not very practical for regular use, but it did at least let me get back to the main screen.

So, I followed your directions and turned my phone off. Now I can't it back on. The back button won't respond. Any suggestions?
