I think there is somewhere very old feature suggestion to add cadence but the status changed to "not currently planned". Runners have been asking Fitbit for it for years and never happened.

@awkilpo @t.parker I found a Cadence Coach app in the Fitbit App Gallery. I am not sure if it will meet your needs or not. One of the frustrating aspects of the Exercise app is that it must run in the foreground. If this app must also run in the foreground, then you can't use both at once.
If someone tries it, please give us some feedback. I can't try it for you. After three knee surgeries, I was told to hang up my running shoes. Please don't tell my surgeon that I cheat sometimes.
