cadence is also a feature that is missing from Fitbit smartwatches . They could be easily upgrated from fitness to more athletic watches combining both perfectly with  only a few additions .

@Lemelena   There are several Feature Requests asking for a cadence feature.  Sadly, it is listed as Not Currently Planned.

Like @LZeeW  said, the feature doesn't seem to be in the current Fitbit roadmap. After my knee injury, I prioritised cadence and this is where Fitbit devices fall short for me and are rather useless when it comes to track running. In my opinion, Fitbits are not running watches. There are better and often cheaper dedicated devices in the market.
