I’m a fitness instructor and workout 6-7 days a week. I have noticed when I track my workout in real time while i am teaching i burn 200 more calories than if i don’t start the tracking on my watch....but yet I’m doing the exact same thing for the same amount of time. My heart rate shows that it goes higher if I’m tracking, than when I’m not, but I’m teaching the same class, same time of day. Which way is correct?

Haha, this is really odd... I am curious to hear some possible explanations.

That makes sense! I didn’t realize there was a difference in the tracking. Thank you!

I compared mine to my garmin va and they were both within a few calories when both tracking a boot camp session so assume it is pretty accurate.
