Calories drop after syncing

I have a few issues with my ionic but a persistent one is the calories dropping after syncing. A couple of weeks ago I lost over 400 and today 200ish. There’s no explanation as to why.

Everything is up to date (latest iOS and app version, latest firmware following factory reset on ionic, logged out/in, turned Bluetooth off/on, reset ionic,  removed and re-added ionic to app). I haven’t used gps or Strava for over a week either.

Can anyone help?

It also randomly gets swimming lengths wrong. How do I fix that? It often counts an odd number when I’ve clearly done even lengths. I’m always full swimming (not legs only) and I’m consistently swimming without a break for 35 mins.

This happens to me too and it’s since I started using Strava so I’m wondering if it’s connected.

@Ludlow16 A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you have Fitbit and Strava connected.

I would like you to provide me with more details about the calories dropping on your account. Please reply to the following questions:

- Are your calories dropping when you sync or throughout the day?
- Is this the only information that's decreasing?
- Did it start happening when you connected your app with Strava?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

It only happens when I sync. It seems to happen when I have used Strava.
