It's great to see you in the forums @Slimta! Before you start your workout, you can set the length of the intervals and the total number of rounds you want to complete. You can choose from these 3 ranges:
To set the intervals, follow these steps:
Keep in mind the interval lengths and total number of rounds you set will remain as the default options until you change them. If you do the same workout often, you don’t need to set the intervals each time.
To start an interval workout, find the Interval exercise on your Fitbit device and start the workout. So, there's no need to take your phone with you.

I'm trying to edit interval times but Interval Workout isn't shown in the menu. How do I add it? Surely this should all be set up and easy to edit?

If you go to the app and account and tap Ionic, scroll down till you come to Exercise Shortcuts. Tap that then tap the plus sign and I terval workouts is on that list. Add it to your ionic (you may need to remove one of those already there) and you are set to go.

Hi, I want to set multiple intervals with different lenghts of move and rest. When I tap the '+ Add' button, it's greyed out and I cannot set different intervals. What am I missing here or what am I doing wrong? This is a 'must have'-setting for me and I'm suprised to see that it doesn't seem possible. I'm sure I'm not the only one with who's looking for this feature. Easy to add for back-end-guys! Please help!

@nvanderveldeYou'll not be able to set up multiple varying intervals on the current iteration. If you want to add your suggestion, I suggest you add it in the Features Suggestion area here

Since the latest update, I can’t find the exercise types on my Fitbit ionic? When I hit the bottom right button, all I get is Fitbit coach 😞

Before you start your workout, you can set the length of the intervals and the total number of rounds you want to complete. You can choose from these 3 ranges:
- Move period: From 10 seconds up to 19 minutes, 59 seconds
- Rest period: From 10 seconds up to 19 minutes, 59 seconds
- Repeat (total number of rounds): 1 to 49 times
To set the intervals, follow these steps:
- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
- Tap Exercise Shortcuts.
- Tap Interval Workout. If Interval Workout isn’t listed in the menu, you’ll need to add it to your exercise shortcuts.
- Set your intervals.

Hello @G_girliee.
Start opening the Fitbit app on your smartphone (I have a Pixel 2 XL, if you have an iPhone the app might be a little different but hopefully it is ok).
On top right of the app press the icon of the IONIC
In the subsequent screen you will get your Ionic options that however you need to scroll down to see the exercises shortcut
Press the exercise shortcuts button and you will have a list of all type of exercise currently available on your Ionic
The list can keep up to 7 exercises so if, like me you have 7, you shall decide which one to sacrifice (in my case hiking) swiping it on left.
Now you will have available a + button on top right that you can press and select the exercise you like on the next screen.
And voilà!
Now pressing the interval training shortcut you will enter into the exercise setting where you can define your own intervals.
I hope it is clear otherwise do not hesitate to ask!
Happy interval training!

Welcome on board @Sandil61, it's nice to have a new member around! The interval option needs to be set on the App not on the phone itself as you mentioned.
Intervals are any exercise that alternates between intense bursts of activity followed by periods of lower intensity activity or rest. Choose to use the default interval workout or set custom intervals.
By default, the interval workout consists of:
