There is a topic I have participated in over the years regarding how the Ionic doesn't provide accurate heart rate readings while exercising.  It has been corroborated that it was a known issue that Fitbit would not address.  I have noticed that the topic is marked "answered" but it has never been resolved for multiple users who participated in the thread.  There was a recent post and response but I am not able to post or reply.  It doesn't say anything about the thread being closed and since there is a recent post, I'm wondering why I can't post to it.  Anyone?

Hi @jivehonky  the thread is closed, so you can't add anything to it. Did you see the last post, which was from the moderator who closed it? That post had some information in it that you might want to read.

OK, now I see that the last message mentions closing the thread.  But why would the thread be closed?  There is a post in there with a question that is relevant to the topic this month.  The last post by the moderator was the same boilerplate that didn't help many on that thread.

@jivehonky  evidently the moderator felt that all that could be posted on the topic had been and they did say to contact customer support directly if needed. If you still need assistance, it's best to do that. Moderators, as Fitbit employees, have the ability to delete, edit, merge or lock threads, per the Terms of Service.
