I feel like this is a crazy question, but I cannot change the volume on my Fitbit whilst listening to a Deezer playlist. Though I see the '+' and +-' buttons - pressing them does nothing.
BTW I have tried both pressing the '+' and '-' icons on the actual Fitbit Ionic touchscreen and I've tried pressing the actual Ionic buttons on the right hand side of the watch (given that the '+' lines up with the top button and the '-' lines up with the bottom button).
So my question is twofold: (1) Am I supposed to be touching the onscreen '+' and '-' buttons or the actual buttons on the right hand side of the Ionic and (2) why does trying both of these options do nothing at all anyway? Note that I am not using 'Fitbit Flyer' headphones - just standard, run of the mill Bluetooth headphones. Perhaps this is the issue? (Even though that would be very disappointing)
So the only way I'm able to change my volume at the moment is with the volume on the Bluetooth headphones but this doesn't seem right............(Also I'm wanting to buy new headphones that actually don't have inbuilt volume controls so I need to be able to control the volume on the Ionic itself.)
Any ideas or thoughts?

Hey there @Aussiecleo, it's nice to see you around the forums! Thanks for already testing this out on your headphone and your Fitbit Ionic, nice way to go!
While music is playing, play or pause the track or tap the arrow icons to skip to the next track or previous track (returning to a previous track isn’t possible when listening to Flow). Press the + and - icons to control the volume.
Open the music controls to change tracks or control volume. From any screen, press and hold the back button on your watch and swipe to the Music Controls screen instead of opening the Deezer app.

Thank you - I will try this via the music control screen as you suggest then drop back to this post with an update as to whether that fixes the issue. Thanks MarreFitbit!

Hi MarreFitbit - I wasn’t able to get back to the music controls screen whilst the playlist was going, but it turns out I could use the + and - keys successfully with my new headphones, so I think the problem was actually the old one. Thanks so much.

Hello, I just bought my ionic yesterday. I paired my apple airpods but no matter what I do, I cant lower or raise the volume. The first connect they were at a medium volume and wouldn't go up or down. I disconnected them and reconnected. It was at max volume so I was like oh cool and tried playing with the controls and then it went back to the medium volume and wont go up or down. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting again and there at medium volume and will not go up and down.
