Can't sync Pandora Stations

I have my Ionic 90% set up, can't seem to sync Pandora stations, either my top stations or the "workout" stations you can select from.  My Ionic syncs to my phone app fine (so far), but for reason the stations never seem to load to tracker. I let it update over night, and nothing loaded, just says "No Stations Yet".  I have tried re-sync and force sync a few times now. Anyone have any suggestions?  I'd love to use this feature. Please Help Fitbit!

I have to agree, that I think it would have been a much better decision to pick the stations we want. I had success reverting back and picking two work out stations.
My top stations are ones that I would never use for running, so once I realized that my most frequently played stations wouldn't be good, I went back to the other option

Actually I will most likely use the MyMusic playlists more.

I’m having the same issue and have tried every suggestion I’ve read. I’ve been a Fitbit fan since it came out but this one is the first to disappoint me!

Same issue. I have been trying for hours to get pandora to sync.  I have tried everything multiple times. Very disappointed.

I’m having the same issue, I’m using an iPhone 7 with all apps up to date. Pandora is updated and installed on my phone and watch. My Pandora is a premium account. I’ve turned on offline listening in the pandora app and I have tried for three days to keep my ionic plugged in and I’ve used “force sync”, I’ve reset the ionic multiple times. I can see the pandora app on my ionic and when I open it it says no stations are available. I’m the Fitbit app it has a blue bar at the top that is blue on the left and gray on the right and when I click it it says “pandora 4 stations” and the checked selection below is selected to use my top pandora stations. I clicked force sync and I can see a message that says updating stations this can take up to 15 minutes but then after a few hours it goes away and pandora says there are not stations available. This was one of the features that swayed me toward this watch and this stinks!

I am having the same isssue. "Updating stations...." has been on my ionic for a few hours. This is really getting old.  I have tried everything posted multiple times.  There are some serious software issues with the pandora sync. I regret buying this so soon. Don't think I will be recommending this product right now. To many issues.

Update -  it seems that if I sync Pandora via my personal Iphone 5s, while watch is plugged in and hooked up to wifi (with up to date iOS) it erases Pandora availability (blue bar indicates content is there, but watch says no stations). When I sync via my work Iphone 6s (with current ios) Pandora station re appear but it takes a couple of times, first cycle through, they disappear, second time through I got 2 stations, third time through they all showed up.  The watch also seemingly likes to update pandora via my work wifi, rather than my home wifi, but honestly the issue appears to have more to do with the iphone 5s vs 6s.  The only consistency I have found is that the watch does not like to sync pandora via my iphone 5s, but will sync pandora via my 6s.  That being said, I had to do a full "remove this device" and reload the ionic last night because it just would not sync to the app at all.

Firmware Version 27.25.16.7 / Samsung Galaxy S8.

Very disappointed with this product.  I have tried everything posted multiple times.  I can not get any stations to load on the Ionic.  I have done restarts, factory restarts, unpaired, repaired, uninstalled Pandora, reinstalled Pandora, turned off Bluetooth, turned on Bluetooth, tried multiple wifi spots, removed Ionic and synced back up multiple times.  Pandora shows 3 stations available for offline listening.

It constantly shows something downloading (Green screen 100% with top right corner download symbol) while its charging but not stations ever show up.  I even let if download over night.  If you open the Pandora app on the Ionic, is shows the wheel of down load death and says "Updating Station.... blah blah blah"

I am at a complete loss.  No fixes on this site are working.  Anyone else having this issue?  Regret buying this watch!!!!

I'm having the same issue. It has been trying to sync one station for over 2 hours. I'm pretty close to just returning the watch. I've tried everything to fix it. Nothing.

I'm about ready to return this ionic as well.  Pandora won't load, music won't load, won't stay connected to the wifi, not registering stairs or steps correctly, battery keeps dying in less than 24 hours after charging fully.  Tired of resetting the **ahem** watch, iPhone and laptop to accommodate this turd.

Sorry to hear that..  I agree that the whole pandora integration has been horribly unreliable up to this point,  I guess we're the real beta testers.

I have found that in regards to the ionic's battery,  if you use GPS,   and play music from the unit battery is two days max.  Also,  what makes it worse is if you turn the screen to stay awake during exercise.

There is no way the battery life is better on the ionic than the surge...  The screen is a huge drain with the ionic....   I've just gotten use to charging everyday..

I had similar issue with mine. I know you have tried similar steps but here is what I did to get mine to download.

1.  Restart the Ionic 3 times in a row (hold the left and lower right buttons for about 10 seconds until it restarts).

2.  Swipe to the Settings app on the Ionic and then scroll down to the 'About' tab - tap this and then scroll down to the Shutdown.  Tap Shutdown and turn off the Ionic. Wait a couple of minutes and then press the left button to start up the unit.

3. Close down all the apps on the Samsung. Then restart the phone.

4. Put the Ionic on the charger.

5. Open the Fitbit app on the phone. Go to the Ionic settings on the app and check to make sure the settings on the Media tab is OK.  Then force a sync if it has not started.

6.  Leave everything alone for about an hour and check again.

My three stations finally downloaded after I went through these steps in this sequence.  It has been updating normally now when I charge and I don't have to do anything else to get the Pandora stations to update. It seems it just needed the connect the first time to work properly.

Hope this works for you.

@BrooksUSMC if the battery doesn't last 24 hours there is something wrong. I have no issues going days without needing a charge. even going on a 2 hour hike with gps on and then listing to music I was still 80%. They battery is actually much better than I expected.

Mine finally synced last night. Only 2 of the three stations loaded. I’ve
deleted all of the stations, unsynced Pandora from the Ionic, restarted the
watch and the phone, resynced Pandora and then reselected the stations I
wanted. I’m going to try and letting the watch sync on its own without
using the Forced Sync option in the Fitbit App.

Thank you for the suggestion. Tried it 2 times and it did not work.  Think I may just return it.  I even started a case with customer service.  They said they would email me and still have not.  Very disappointed.

I did a full charge yesterday afternoon. I rode for 80 minutes yesterday, ran for 20 and did weights for 30. Battery was down to 15% at 2 pm today and charging as I type this... It's going back.

Same here said they would email me and won't.  It pisses me off that you spend 300 bucks and it's so buggy.  I factory reset it twice, removed and added device into app. Unlinked and linked my Pandora account at least 10 times but device still says #no Pandora account ..." When you select the icon.

Do you guys think that this is acceptable. This is ridiculous, for $300? So many problems, I feel like this was a get rich quick scheme to improve fitbits share holders. This thing isn’t even close to being worth $300. It’s a scam and you guys know it.

Haha, same. It worked for a few weeks then every problem imaginable happened.
