Are there any Ionic users here who have successfully uploaded music to their device?
I've been in touch with Fitbit and they say that, on a Mac, you have to use OSX 10.5 (which was released in 2009 and went end of life in 2011!!) and, without that, you can't!
This feels like false advertising. Has anyone found a way to get around this ridiculous limitation?
Thanks!

Hello @Katie5526 and welcome to the Help forums. I successfully transferred music from my Mac to my Versa 2. The steps are the same as to your Ionic. Between you and me, I don't think a lot of the people in Support use Macs. I see things written that confuse Mac OS with iOS, so I'm not surprised that you got confusing information about Mac OS X 10.5.
This Help article does have the steps in order and a video in the Mac instructions. That statement about OS X 10.5 is incorrect. I believe I was using OS Catalina when I transferred my music. This next part is in the instructions -- you need to download some software called Fitbit Connect. When you go to https://www.fitbit.com/setup and scroll down, you will see a pink bar that says Download for Mac. This will download the current Fitbit Connect software.
Read the Help article and watch the video a few times. When it comes to things like downloading software, if it isn't written for basic users, I will find a way to mess it up. If I can do it, you can, too. One thing that is wrong with the article is that is mentions iTunes. As we all know, Apple replaced iTunes with Music a while ago. I have a lot of my personal music on playlists. I remember selecting playlists and didn't have any issue with the fact that it was Music, not iTunes. I didn't have to do any of those "sharing" steps.
I do need to say that I don't use a Versa 2 anymore. I have not tried to transfer music since OS Big Sur was released. But I want to wish you luck!
