Cannot edit workout in app (Android 7.0)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After synching ionic, workout shows up as 'workout and I want to change it to CrossFit.

As soon as I tap the pencil icon to edit the workout the app crashes.

Any ideas? Workarounds? I know I can do it on the web but since it's supposed to work in the app ...

Thanks!

Hi @MEtheprinter,

If the app is crashing, you'd need to re-install it. All the data is on the fitbit servers, so you won't lose anything.

Thank you for your suggestion,  I did re -install the App, it was the first thing I tried and it still happened.  That's why I turned to the community.  Another suggestion?

I am experiencing the same issue.

Also tried an uninstall/reinstall of the app.  Running Android 7.0 on Samsung S8, paired with Fitbit Ionic, and running Fitbit app version 2.63.

Fitbit, please address.

The exact same thing is happening to my app too.  I'm on a Samsung S7. Uninstall/reinstall didn't work for me either.

Is this crashing the app for everyone, or is it just not allowing the edit?

No issues here.... But it must have a pre-setup Custom Activity/Fitbit Manual Activity in my PC..  I have just created 4 Workouts in the Ionic, synced to the App and edited the name with 4 different Custom Activities.. All OK

If I entered the incorrect Activity in he App or one that wasn't in the Custom/Fitbit Manual Activities  it responded with "Please enter an activity type".....If I do this on the PC it always wants to create a Custom Activity.

Mine does exactly the same, and I quite often forget to finish the workout on my Fitbit when I've actually done. There's also no way to edit a workout on the desktop dashboard either which could be very useful!

I have the Ionic.  A new release to the app went out a week ago and it seems to solve my problem but now the calculator doesn't work on the watch.

So I started a "Feature Suggestion" to fix this and other 2 little bugs that come with it. If you want to make it more visible, please vote for it:
