Cannot pair Ionic with the Honor 6x

Any other Honor 6x owners having issue paring the Ionic and their 6x?

Bluetooth is able to see/find the Ionic to begin setup but then it fails during.

I was able to complete setup because the app finally asked "Switch to wi-fi"?

I can pair/sync the Ionic on my computer with a Fitbit dongle no problem.

I'm seeing the Charge 2 had similar issues with the Honor 6x 10 months ago. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-2/Can-t-pair-my-Charge-2-with-the-Honor-6X/td-p/1812290

 The Honor 6x is using Bluetooth 4.1, A2DP, EDR, LE. Are there compatibility issues there?

@ebr206 It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community! I was checking the list of supported devices and I wasn't able to find the Honor 6x. I can see the Honor 6 and Honor 6 Plus, but the X is not listed yet. I think this is the root cause of the compatibility issue you are experiencing with your phone.

I've seen devices that are not listed, but they can sync. Just to try, please perform these syncing troubleshooting steps for Android devices and see how it goes!

If still nothing, please continue to sync with your computer or use a different mobile device model for the moment.

Pairing Is possible but syncing is buggy and notifications only work sometimes.

@majycal Sadly I need to recommend NOT buying the Ionic due all those sync/notification issues. The software is not working correctly and fitbit is not doing a commitment when there will be a fix
