Constant Notifications

I am getting text and call notifications, and after awhile I get notifications to clear all. After I have cleared it, my tracker is constantly vibrating and showing the message "nothing new here". When I say constantly I mean their are times it will do it 6 times or more a minute. I have updated the app, restarted my phone (iPhone 7), turned off the notifications and have restarted the Ionic, but it keeps happening. As you can imagine it's driving me crazy. Any suggestions?

I'm convinced that this is part of Fitbit's "planned obsolescence" to require you to purchase new devices. They got me for 3 devices...no more as I'm done! I don't want to be buying a new watch every 1.5 years that these watches seem to last.
