Thank you for including a countdown timer in the Ionic. I am a football official and I have been using the Surge as my secondary timer since it added the countdown timer. I keep all my fitness stats plus the timer is perfect and I don't need to carry a second watch. Thankfully the Ionic has one also but there is an issue that I was hoping could be addressed. Unlike the Surge, the screen on the Ionic automatically goes blank after a few moments with the timer activated. This makes it very difficult to keep time because I must remember to activate the screen and then start/stop the timer and after using the surge for 2 years it is hard to change and I have missed starting/stopping at times. This also causes problems when asked how much time, if I am actually keeping official time, between plays because I have to stop and take time instead of just glancing.
Can you tell me if there is any way to set the countdown timer up so that the screen does not go off and stays on while the timer is activated? Thank You
