My Ionic counted a flight of stairs when I was sleeping. Tried to reset watch but that doesn’t work. Add to bug list.

If something has been counted then a reset wouldn't be expected to un-count it. A reset does what it says, it resets your Ionic to get it going again in the event that there were problems.
Similarly, the fact that a floor counter counted a floor can't be dismissed as simply 'a bug'. It obviously counted something, the thing is to try and understand what was counted.
Were any steps logged overnight at the same time?

The Ionic “counts” floors by using a barometric sensor. If there was a change in atmospheric pressure during the night this will get recorded as flights traversed.
That said, there should be a logic that can determine that, because the step counter isn’t registering any changes, the stair counter shouldn’t either, but that’s another story.

I believe there is an undocumented astral projection sensor in the watch, coming soon 🙂
