@caught   Here is a link that might help you.  Why can't I update my Fitbit device?  There is a section with advice for Ionic/Versa series.  If the troubleshooting steps don't get you going, please contact Support.

If the resets don't work, then It's stuck in a bootloop.  It's a problem that Fitbit knows the Ionic has, but they will do nothing about it, and they won't fix it.

 

If you are still under warranty (1 year, because the product is defective - a customer service rep told me so), they will give you a new one.

 

If not, they will give you a 25% discount so that you will spend more money on another defective product.
