Hi all,
My new Ionic synced and work with Samsung J7 for about a week. Then I bought and loades Map Chart Mosaic and failed to get it to work. After resetting and reloading the phone app I am stuck. Tried "press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen."
I get the same error msg:Data not cleared sync & try again
I can't syn. It is stuck. Any ideas?

Let me share with you that the error message your device is displaying is because the firmware update process wasn't completed. That being said, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article.
Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Latest firmware is updated and the Ionic is working great.
Mapchart will now open, gets stuck at "Dowload Connectiong..." and never advances past that screen.
Another GPS app works jsut fine.
Any thoughts?
