Device not vibrating when receiving notifications

Watch ver: 68.9.15

App ver:3.7

iOS ver: 12.1

After Ionic firmware update I no longer get a vibrate on my phone when a text comes through. The text does show up but I am not alerted to it. I have to swipe down for it to appear.

I called my phone and I do get an alert of an incoming phone call that I can answer from my Ionic as well.

I also did not update to my iOS to 13 like others have.

This is directly related to the latest Ionic firmware.

Another fitbit fail...

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. Can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Ionic are correctly configured.

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. Even though you're receiving notifications, please try the steps that are specified there and keep me posted.

I've tried all these troubleshooting ideas in the links you sent.  I am still not getting notifications of my texts.  But phone calls I am.  All the notifications regarding messages are on.  So I'm not sure what the problem is here.

I factory reset my watch. My watch interface looks like the previous firmware. My app says my watch version is 33.1.30

So downgrading back to the old firmware gets text/app notifications working again.

I haven't been prompted to download the new watch firmware. Maybe fitbit pulled it because of how terrible it was. I'll hold off for now

I had the exact same issue after upgrading the firmware. I factory reset the watch, updated the firmware again (not sure why it prompted me when it should be already on latest version) and after that watch vibrates on every notification.

iOS - 12.4.1

Fitbit App - 68.9.15

Firmware - 27.68.9.15

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH iOS version...

I performed the watch firmware update and text message notifications stopped (note: iOS ver 12.1). I factory reset the watch. Notifications are back!

Updated to latest firmware on watch again. Notifications are gone!

Updated iOS to 13.x. Still no notifications.

Drum roll...turned message/text to Allow Preview (meaning my texts show up on my home screen, major security issue) and now notifications are back!

Fitbit IT Support... PLEASE FIX ASAP!
