Different Distances in app (run)

Hello all,

Every time I run the app shows different distances.

When my watch reflected the 10km, I stop. The resume of the race shows 10km, however when I export the run to my app, it shows two different distances. In the main menu appear 10km but when i open the details shows 9,88km on the top but in map is still 10km.

The same happen in PC, we have the two distances too.

Anyone with the same problem?

I already re-instal the app.

Thank you

@JoanaEsteves Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and for checking in your PC and Fitbit app.

I appreciate that you uninstalled the application. As you may know, our Fitbit devices with GPS sensors require a direct path to GPS satellites to calculate location. A weak GPS signal might affect the accuracy of your route and other activity data. Since your Fitbit uses your step count to calculate distance until it finds a signal, the total distance recorded may be slightly less accurate if the GPS wasn't available for the entire time.

That being said, please give it a try to the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app. For iOS see this article, and for Android see this article.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, log back in and check your exercise details.

If you keep seeing the same discrepancies with your distance, please provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing.

Keep me posted.

Hello,

Thank you for trying to help.

I already unistal and instal again the app but the problem remains.

Every time I run, I wait to see in my watch until they shows that the signal was detected so I dont understand.

Also, the same exercise shows the different distances, thats I is strange for me.

Find the print screens attached so can be easier understand.

Thanks

Is there any update on this?  I have this issue with every run on my Versa 2 (iOS app).

The watch exercise summary matches the header distance on the activity, but then the map shows a lower distance. My watch stays connected to my phone at all times.
