They fix nothing....touchscreens, battery life...all still problems.
And that's just the beginning.
Don't touch these products.
I owned 2 Ionics.
They both broke.
Moderator edit: Subject for clarity
Don't buy or upgrade to the Ionic.
I bought 2 of them. They both broke. Same problem each time...malfunctioning touch screen.
Support offered to sell me a new one with a 25% discount....Yeah, right.....
I have noticed that I am not the only one with this problem.
Buyer beware!!!!
Hello, I'm having to many problems as well. It was great at first, but pretty useless now. if you come across a really good one let me know!
I have owned 2 ionics.
They both broke. Same problems each time...touchscreen...
It's not you. This is substandard technology.
Buy an Apple Watch....It hurts to do so.

It's not you Andre.
Fitbit is substandard technology.
I owned 2 ionic....Company's flagship product.
They both broke.
Buy Apple...I wish I had a better message...but that's my experience, anyway.
It's not you.
It's Fitbit's substandard technology.
I owned 2 Ionic...their flagship product.
They both broke...Same problem both times...defective touchscreens.
Fitbit's bug fixes only make things worse.
My advice....Buy Apple.
Best AnswerFitbit is a garbage.
I owned 2 Ionics...Fitbit's most expensive and flagship product.
They both broke. Defective touchscreens.
Fitbit support is of limited value.
Their product is hopelessly defective.
The only solution....Buy Apple.
That's because the Fitbit support team doesn't fix any problems, and their product sucks.
I have owned 2 ionics.
They both broke.
Defective touchscreens.
Buy Apple instead....an I am saying this after investing over $300 and countless of hours with support on my Ionic
Bravo, Bravo....
I owned 2 Fitbit Ionics...their most expensive, state of the art product.
They were both defective...touchscreen didn't work.
I spent hours and hours with support.
But an Apple Watch...That's what I am going to do.
Their product isn't good.
Their concept isn't good.
Their support isn't good.
All get F-
This product has so many bugs, it's hard to know where to begin.
I owned 2 Ionics...their most expensive, flagship products. They both broke...immediately.
Fitbit should go file for bankruptcy.
I owned 2 Ionics.
They both broke.
Defective touchscreens and batteries.
Fitbit doesn't care...but notice their stock price.
Post you reviews on CNet and Consumer Reports, etc.
So many problems and defects.
It costs $300 and works, at best, for about a year.
Restart is not the answer to everything.
There are bugs in your program that render it unusable.
You need to fix them. Immediately.
Hi @IONICOWNER your posts were merged into one thread. It's easier to keep track of your situation when you keep posts in one spot. Sorry you're upset.
I had the exact same experience...sorry to say.
I owned 2 Ionics after owning 1 Charge.
The Charge worked fine.
The Ionics were defective out of the box.
The touchscreen never worked correctly.
The batter was always dying.
Support was flummoxed.
I will never buy another product from this company again.
Best AnswerI wish that I had better news for you.
I owned 2 Ionics.
They both broke.
They problem here is defective technology/design.
You aren't doing anything wrong.
Fitbit sold a product that is plagued by problems.
I have tried factory restarts, etc. Support is a dead end.
I can't set alarms, select exercises, nothing.....
All it does is tell time. I could have got a $3 watch to do that, not a $300 one.
Any one with the same problem?

As per your posts, I assume that you already tried to restart your Ionic.
We released a new firmware update a few days ago, could you please verify if you have it available, or if you already installed it? This has helped other users with similar situations.
Could you please confirm if you have tried changing the clock face . Some 3rd party clock faces have shown to give some issues with the touchscreen.
Could you let me know if you can operate the buttons?
I'll be expecting your reply.
