My Ionic is fully charged but the brightness is so low as to almost be unreadable. Out of nowhere!  I have the brightness at its highest setting.  Not yet 18 months old.  Anyone have any advice?  Thanks!

Hello @Oddibe, welcome to the Community Forums, it's a pleasure to help you with this concern.

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, certainly the display of your Ionic device isn't working as the way it was designed. If you haven't already done so, please restart your device following the next steps:

  1. Press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Keep me posted.

Hello Ricardo.....I have done both steps per your instructions and then I also did a factory reset. The logo comes up with regular brightness for about 3 seconds then fades to an almost unreadable level. Even in the dark it's almost impossible to see.  I hope you can help or instruct me what to do, or set up a problem number or replace with a used Ionic. Whatever you can do I appreciate it. I miss my device! Oh one more thing....the light checking my pulse went out at the same time and like I said, it took the charge to 100% but no pulse light, unreadable screen. Thank you!

The same occured with my ionic; next, it stopped working fully. That is, this is a normal behavior which is occuring with ionic devices which are a few months out of the warranty period (check other posts).
