Recently when I attempt to enter my PIN and sometimes when simply trying to navigate using touch controls on the screen, I get almost a frozen screen, but I think it simply is taking ages to register the touch.  This is very frustrating, for example, when starting a run and you can't get the fitbit into Run mode.

After a while it seems to snap out of it and the screen works ok again for a while.

Could it be related to turning on PIN code when I set up FitBit Pay?  Could it require a factory reset?

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Hello @Drew1969, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting, seems odd that the display of your Ionic is behaving in such way. Just as @SunsetRunner recommended, please try our restart process to refresh your device's performance. If this process doesn't resolve your concern, please change the clock face of your Ionic following the steps that are specified on: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device? and let me know if the issue persists.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

This is not helpful but just to let you know I’m having exactly the same problem. Started about a week ago and is getting worse.

I’ve changed the clock face and it’s made no difference.

Thanks for the information. Now my watch keeps resetting a couple of times a day. I can’t get it to behave consistently. I’m taking it back to where I bought it to see what they can do for me...
