Hello, I have been having this issue for quite a while. My Fitbit always underestimates the distances that I run (see above, it was actually 2.0 miles). It also appear to have gotten worse over time. I often do the same 2 mile sprint/walk workout. Back in February it was recording them at 1.22, 1.28, and 1.25 for example. Also, it appears to be more accurate when I run at a steady pace, but still underestimates. (0.89, 0.93, 0.84 all recorded for a steady mile)

Hi @RileyW ,

I noticed the exercise was logged as Treadmill. Wrist-based trackers have trouble with treadmill distance because you're not physically moving forward, while the treadmill knows how many revolutions the track makes. In this case the fitbit has to rely on stride length, which gets set automatically. If you're interested in getting the distance more accurate, you can adjust the stride length in the app settings.
