For the for the auto recognised walks or runs it displays most of the information except the distance , the same distance gets added in the daily distance goal .
so if the ionic collects and adds the distance automatically , then why is not displayed for the recognised activity ?:
if if the walk is manually started as a work out , the map gets displayed along with the distance ,
but for every walk the map may not be a requirement .
it would great to know the distance logged for auto recognised walks or run , as the information is available and gets added to total distance covered ,
hope fitbit guys can make it a fix in the next update for ionic .

@Anish_c, Walks/Runs recorded by SmartTrack do not include distance, just steps. If you want full info on walks/runs, use the Exercise Mode for the Walk or Run to manually start & stop the activity and it will record distance in addition to all other data. A walk recorded by SmartTrack will something like this in the Activity Log, with "N/A" for Distance:

My point was that ,if the auto recognised activity adds itself to the total distance , then why not display it within the activity too ?

I totally agree, @Anish_c. If you would like SmartTrack to display distance for step based activities, please vote for this feature suggeston. The more votes, the more likely it is to be implemented in a future update.
