I just walked over a distance of 1,200 metres but my Fitbit only recorded 456 steps which means one step was over 2 metres long. How can I adjust this?

@Nkwaziaquaenda, you can adjust the stride length in the app Account->Advance Settings, but that is probably not your problem.  The question is why did the tracker count so few steps?  A three-quarter mile walk should be approximately 1,500 steps, or a little over 3 times what your tracker recorded.  Were you carrying something with the arm that the tracker is on, or were you using a walking stick/cane, etc., which would have kept your arm from freely swinging?  Did the tracker record the entire walk, or did it start/stop which caused it to record the entire walk?  Did you manually start/stop the Exercise Mode for Walk, or did you use AutoTrack to record the walk?
