Good morning all,
The plastic sensor cover on the back of my ionic has gotten cloudy over time. I noticed about a week ago it was starting to get really cloudy and about the same time my resting heart rate has increased about 10 bpm over what I am used to it being.
Does anyone know if there is a correlation there? Can the heart rate sensor accurately read heart rate through a cloudy cover?

Best AnswerHi WendyB, thank you for your reply. My battery charging contacts are fine and my battery is charging just fine. I'm asking about the plastic cover over the heart rate sensor and SpO2 sensors

Best AnswerHey WendyB,
Sorry about that, i misunderstood your original response. I have tried the cleaning methods and the sensor cover did not clear up. I'll get in touch with fitbit support to ask how I clean it properly. Thanks for your help!
Best AnswerIn case anyone finds this with the same question, i got in touch with support today and shared a picture of how my sensor looks. They informed me that as long as the fitbit is consistently picking up *a* heart rate, the cloudyness does not affect sensor accuracy.
