Just wondering if this thing does anything new that it didn't do when I bought it?  I thought it was supposed to have all sorts of apps and stuff, but honestly it doesn't seem to have anything extra.  Kinda sucks balls IMO.

The unit came out with some apps written/developed by Fitbit - Strava, Pandora, Music, Weather, Wallet... It is open to third party developers to produce apps for use and users can also custom create apps for their and their friends use. It should not be long before you see these third party apps show up.
