I purchased a Fitbit ionic just over a year ago I called the support staff they tried to troubleshoot the product and they told me there is nothing they could do to fix it. The fitbit os broken due to a manufactural problem screen wont turn on and the buttons dont work. I have always took very good care of all of my electronics and have had two other fitbit's and it have been a lover of the product. Now knowing that Fitbit will not do anything to fix my product even though I haven't had it for more than a year and a half is ridiculous. A company won't fix a product that supposed to last for 3 to 5 years shows how much they care about their customers. Dont purchase a Fitbit

That hasn't been my experience at all.
Over the years I have, admittedly, had several issues with Fitbit sports watches, but they were all my own doing; cracked a screen on one, shorted out another with excessive sweat. Another just quit on me.
In each case Fitbit either sent me an immediate replacement (if it was still under a year, of course), but in situations when it was over a year, they offered me 50% off on any sports watch that they sell.
I don't think you would receive nearly the value or the support from Apple if you had the same issue with your $600 iWatch.

I don't believe your expectations would be realized - especially if the warranty had expired.
