Using an S8 with the Ionic. I'm getting duplicate email, text and calendar alerts for some reason. It's really annoying because it's spaced just get enough apart that I forget and think I'm getting a second notification. Anyone else getting this?

This was one of the two issues that finally led to my giving up on the Ionic. The steps while charging was pretty bad, but the notifications was just infuriating.
Returned the Ionic and picked up a Gear Sport. I only get 3 days of battery vs 4 with the Ionic, but all the smart watch features actually work.
Now I have to figure out a new scale to buy so I can complete my divorce from Fitbit. Its a shame too, I still think the interface is the best of the available options. Having been on Fitbit since 2013 exporting my data a month at a time is going to suck
I know they wanted it to be out for Christmas, but the Ionic really should have been held back until it worked before release. I think a device like what was released will cause a lot of customers to go elsewhere, you really have to be a Fitbit fanboy to sick around for the Ionic to hopefully get fixed in patches.

Still receiving duplicates. Note 8, latest firmware. This is my first fit bit, probably last. Annoying piece of tech.

Android Oreo. Pixel. Outlook App. Updated Fitbit App. Duplicate notifications. Obnoxious.

WileyFox Swift 2, Andriod 7.1.2, Fitbit app version 2.62.1.
I originally began getting no notifications, so I reinstalled the app. Now on email (Gmail), and messages (Signal) I sometimes get one notification, sometimes two, and sometimes three.
It's so annoying because when I first got my Ionic, it worked flawlessly.

I am still receiving duplicated whatsapp messages if i don't clear them from my phone.
While you are in the mood of receiving feedbacks, does your team acknowledge there are sync and notification (break) issues? If so, is your team working on them? Do not reply with have I tried rebooting, unpairing, forgetting, etc. Tried all those till the hulk in me came out.

I get the duplicates on a Galaxy Note 3. And it vibrates on my wrist many times each time a new one comes in. I have to turn the notifications off after a while, as it just creates anxiety.

Hello,
I checked the version of the app I have, and it is 2.63. I received the Ionic in November and also get duplicate notifications for everything. Is there any other solution to correct this? Thanks!

Was having these problems on the Blaze. (combined with a Sony Z2, later a Sony XZ)
Just installed the latest ware on my new Ionic, using this with a Sony XZ with latest updated OS.
Also and still receiving multiple duplicates and after clearing i receive duplicates, including the old ones when a new message comes in.
I'm having these duplicate notifications of messages on my watch with Whatsapp, Gmail, Google calendar and sms..

I get duplicates, too. That means when I get a new message on the phone, I get the new PLUS some old notifications, from the notifying app but also others. I also get all WhatsApp notifications from a groupchat twice within a few seconds. Never three or more times, though. Android 6.0, LG G4

Matt - Is there any update on this? Seems to be a prevalant bug across the board, and we are all now on firmware 2.63, which is a minor step from what was previously identified with the fix, 2.62.
Thanks.

Same issue as everyone described. Pairing with a Samsung 8 Edge.
It seems as if and time the notifications aren't cleared on the phone, whenever a new one comes through, the phone just pushses ALL notifications (regardless if already pushed to fitbit). Hence the duplicates
Would be awesome if the fitbit app could recognize if a notification has already been pushed to the Ionic, and then from that determing if it needs to be pushed or not.

Sheesh..Add me to the list. Brand new Ionic. Not impressed. Took three hours to download three Pandora channels. Had a horrible time with getting it to sync to my wifi.
Every time I get a notification, it brings back dozens of notifications that I have already deleted. Same ones! They are not showing on my phone. I even went into Android messaging and cleared the cache.
I'm using an LG V30, android 7.1.2 fitbit version 2.66 (2193248)
Thanks!
John
