Durability of the ionic

I am on my second ionic and my third fitbit.  I run swim and workout.  I am thinking of changing to a garmin because the fitbit continues to break.  I understand electronic things don't last forever but less than a year is not acceptable....am I the only one.

I am on my third Ionic - first lasted 7 weeks, second lasted 5 weeks, on my third at the moment (14 weeks). Seriously will consider going Garmin if this one dies within the year. Different issues each time - overheating & unable to charge, then unable to swipe & flickering screen; both not at the time of exercise either.

I'm also on my third Ionic (original + 2 warranty replacements so far). Different issues every time and each time it became more and more difficult and took longer to get a replacement.
