Does the Ionic show elevation gained while hiking? I don't see it as a possible option under settings.
Would be great information to have for avid hikers!

Thanks for the details mentioned. If you're using GPS when tracking a workout, it should show you a map of your route, pace and elevation which will be store in your exercise history. When you finish the exercise it should you a summary and the elevation gained too in your Ionic.

Is there any difference between the 2 apps posted by @Pescho33 ?, they look exactly the same to me.
And more important, due to limitation of the Fitbit OS, if you execute one of those apps you can't launch the Exercise app so you can't record your hiking session and at the same time looking at elevation.
