Elevation gain not tabulating

Does anyone know why elevation is no longer tabulating on the Ionic device or website?     It is saying "0".  I recently went on a hike and it will give me a graph on the website but says "0" both on the watch and the website as far as a numeric figure of total elevation gain.

I would like you to make sure you have the latest firmware version which is 4.0.1. After this, track another activity and check if you get altitude again.

I have the same issue: the field ELEVATION is always 0.
