I've seen lots of threads about problems pairing with earbuds, but none that resolves mine. I have a pair of VaVa wireless buds which I was able to pair instantly with my Ionic and which worked perfectly in the gym. Then my daughter borrowed them...
The first time I retrieved them from her, it took around an hour to pair them again, after removing the buds from the Ionic's pairing list and searching/attempting to pair again and again. Then my daughter borrowed them again...
Having retrieved them again, no amount of turning bluetooth off everywhere else around the house, restarting the Ionic or turning it off and on again will persuade it to pair. It sees the buds no problem but just sticks in an endless pairing loop. I've been at it for two hours now through sheer stubbornness but I'm starting to get really annoyed. It's enough to turn you to drink. While I'm giving in to that temptation, any help would be warmly received.
Cheers!

Is she unpairing them when she is done with them?

Hi Pat. Good question. She did after the first occasion when we were trying together to work out what was going on. I don't think she has this time, though. Would that really make a difference?

Update: daughter has unpaired the earbuds from her phone, but it's made no difference. Have restarted my Ionic, shut it down, reset the buds, got away from the house and tried pairing in different environments, and it's always the same - Ionic sees the buds right away but gets stuck in this pairing loop. Incidentally, the buds pair with my phone no problem, even after unpairing from them, and my daughter can pair with them no bother, so it would seem to be a Fitbit issue. So frustrating.
