My Ionic had no response so did the reset and when that didn't work, tried factory reset, at which point it went dead. For the past 4 days, tried to charge in a wall outlet and usb charger, cleaned the charger leads and tried charging the fitbit overnight and will still dead. Can someone help?

This is the first time I have a wearable die on me, so help!

This happened to me and it never came back on. Fitbit might reply with some copy and pasted email telling you to make sure you’re charging it in a wall outlet! Yea that what they actually said. An insult to my intelligence. Ridiculous. So mine never came back on but the HR monitor lights on the back kept flashing. I thought maybe it would wake up, it didn’t. Lots of devices have gone out after the last firmware update. Look at some of the other posts. If you’re out of warranty you’ll get offered a 20% discount on a new device. I gave up and purchased a Garmin. Good luck with yours and with customer service.

I've contacted Fitbit directly and am waiting on a response.  A case has been opened.  This is my third Ionic that has just died without reason and they have been fine to deal with in the past.  I hope this is the case again.

Mine did the same thing for 2 days.  It sat on the charger then I unplugged for about 6-8hrs. Tried to turn on and the display finally lit up saying 0%.  Plugged it in and it came back to life with all data and preferences.  This is the 2nd time in a month that it has happened to me.  My Ionic is only 2 yrs old and came to the forum to get answers as well.
