Fed up with fitbit steps tracker for iconic watch

Dear all,

I'm facing a serious issue with the steps tracker and I need someone to help me.

Every day before I sleep I remove my iconic watch and when I woke up I saw the tracker is at 0 steps. Once I wear it and move the tracker will jump to 10 or 20 steps immideatly even I walk for few steps and any movements for my arm, it will count another 10 or 20 without any walking. The conclusion is when I remove my fitbit watch from my wrist and wear it again, the tracker will count more steps without any moment and the count is sometimes extermaly high.

Please advise

Yeah, step tracking can be way off. I did about 7000 steps while cycling the 50k round trip to work yesterday (both rides were tracked as cycling).

Fenix 5 Plus. Previously Ionic and Surge. Google Pixels 3 and 5. Aria. Chromebook. Deezer and Audible.
