Really annoying that a £200+ watch I can’t wear when I’m on my motorbike, I even left it in a pannier today and it’s recorded 22k + steps and 195 floors!
could Fitbit just make a watch mode so I could actually use it to tell time on a bike? Deleting activity is a bit long winded for an easy fix?!

A warm welcome to the Community @Mike3411. Thanks for stopping by.
Sorry about your experience with Ionic and your motorcycle. Your feedback is appreciated, Fitbit is always working to improve its watches and implement any features that can help you reach your exercises goals.
Currently, the only way to delete the steps that are being tracked while you're in a motorcycle will be to manually log driving in your Dashboard.
Your understanding is appreciated.

Best AnswerMy understanding is I have 90 days to decide whether to keep this device.
If I have to (remember to) shut it down every time I commute on my motorcycle, reality pushes me toward returning the device. This Ionic has GPS, for goodness sake, update the firmware to recognize that we do not ride bicycles at 40 to 70 mph. Further, the device ought to recognize that it is inhuman to climb 15 flights of stairs in 40 seconds. Will it be any better when I'm riding the bus?
The Fitbit is full of wonderful features and design. But I am only going to give it one shot. Why the glaring blind spots?
And, dammit, I'm sitting in here for half an hour to figure this out when I could be out running.
