I had an issue with my Ionic and it was never resolved. I thought Dell computers had terrible tech support, but Fitbit is by far worse! They hide behind email exchanges, never offer to call and help, it is quite frankly pathetic!
The sad thing is that the producta are decent, but if you ever have an issue, you are screwed, don't bother getting help.

Right now, like most of us, their offices are dealing with coronavirus. On almost every page of the help articles there’s a note that support options are limited and wait times have increased.
I’ve been able to speak with customer support directly over the phone in the past, but my guess is that option is extremely limited at the moment.
I hope everything gets resolved with your device soon!

My Fitbit inspire stopped working after I wore it in the pool and now for two days it’s useless so I guess that’s it. I will have to throw this away and forget Fitbit all together because this is the third that but I’ve tried always problems and no tech-support. Worst purchases I’ve ever tried I guess it’s my fault

With my faulty ionic, I’ve simply been told by support that it’s down to “one of those things” and they can’t put a reason as to why this has happened!
The long and short of it is as follows...
1. If you have a faulty device, like most of us do, you need to contact support and hope you’re under warranty. If you’re under warranty, you stand some chance of getting a device replacement. The support simply tell you to factory rest the device and hope for the best. If that fails, you might get sent a replacement.
2. If you’re out of warranty, you’re going to get a discount at best. A discount on another device that will fail in time, and then repeat the circle of Fitbit life...
Good luck but I think you’re in the same boat as me and screwed.

How old is the device @Lucygirl1 and is it under warranty?
If it’s under warranty, contact support and open a ticket via live chat. If it’s not under warranty, sadly you’re out of luck.
