Just replaced my Charge 2 after 1,5 years - worked great (apart from HR inaccuracies) but I was looking for waterproofing and GPS. Glad to see that Ionic measures HR a lot better. But I noticed two things that need fixing. I'm a hiker and during a hike it would be nice to see current battery level and altitude gained (and maybe current). Right now it's not possible (or am I missing something)? Another thing is the fact that when you pause a hike, GPS still works and drains battery. When I stop for a lunch, I don't want this to happen and I don't like seeing my GPS track zigzagging all all over the place when I upload it afterwards to Google Earth.
And one more thing. I receive all apps and messages notifications but when someone calls me, I don't get the notification. What am I doing wrong?
Apart from that - a great experience so far 🙂
Regards

I agree on the second one - disabling GPS on pause would be nice.

Yes that would be really nice to have.
I used a Microsoft Band 2. It had a very good hiking mode. It worked exactly like you wrote.

Anyone with the same problem regarding call notifications? I'm using Pixel 2.

Hello @SunsetRunner
I have a Pixel 2 XL and I just tried it (I almost never get calls as in my families we use Duo) and got the notification. On your Notification setting screen if you tap the 3 dots on the upper right there is a call test to try.
You might also want to check that the Phone permission is enabled.
