So here is what I’ve noticed (or think I’ve noticed) regarding the new firmware update. First off, my Ionic now has Firmware: 27.25.16.7.
So, here’s what I noticed:
—The BATTERY gauge is no longer in the top left corner of the clock screen or any other. To see the Battery you need to SWIPE your screen from the LEFT SIDE, which will also bring up some options.
—- The LOCK screen (PIN #) is coming up more frequently now.
So those were the 2 things I quickly observed. Anyone else find anything????

I've noticed in the "Stats" clock face there is no longer the option to choose which stats are displayed, the only option I have now is to customise the colour. I'm not sure if the other clock faces are like this as I don't want to go to the trouble of changing my current one to find out.

It feels like the screen comes on automatically with less effort now which I like (assuming the battery still lasts out).

since the update the phone cannot find the tracker. I definitely bought this too soon. I'm not patient enough for teething troubles!!!

I suggest first trying to reset the Ionic by press and holding the bottom right and left buttons for 10secs approx (until screen turns black and Fitbit icon appears). However although Fitbit often tout this as the be-all-and-end all of connection issues, it isn’t and the more radical, though often more successful, method is to forget the Ionic in your Bluetooth settings on your phone, removing the Ionic from your app and then re-add it as a new device.

I am using the Simple Clock face and don't recall the battery indicator being there, even on my Blaze. Like you say when you sweep from left to right you get the screen with the battery gauge. I personally don't care to have the battery gauge on the clock face. I personally prefer to use the battery gauge in the app to tell me when the battery is getting low and it needs to be charged. I too got the new firmware update this morning the day after I first setup my Iconic and I am on 27.25.16.7 too. I haven't seen lock screen come up on mine. Not even sure what that is. I did not setup a PIN. I need to do some reading.

Ok, this is my first fitbit. But boy oh boy, this baby is buggy as hell. Screen is perfect, the alarm this morning worked, but the rest is sometimes working, sometimes not. Changing a watchface messed it competely up, needed a factory reset for example. You need a lot of work boys and girls. My advice is not to get it at this moment, unless you have a proper working other SW.

Every time I read these posts I feel better about my decision to wait on the watch for a bit. They do seem to be pushing out firmware updates quickly, and I've been able to take a look at some of the apps developers are working on and I think the app gallery is going to be stocked soon. I've even started working on my custom app and it's going well. I'm using a friends watch to work on the app, and he's only had minor problems so far, but still glad I waited. I think this is going to be a fantastic product once they get things sorted.

Yes other clock faces have an option to change color.

If I do what you suggested will I lose my previous data?
