I noticed that a firmware update was available on the app and so I decided to charge my Ionic to prepare for the update. In the meantime I've been reading all of these horror stories about how the update has caused all sorts of negative behaviors to people's Fitbits which made me start to think twice about updating.
When my Ionic was fully charged, I decided to take my chances and give the update a go but upon opening the app, the "Update" button was no where to be found. Could it be that Fitbit is aware of their faulty firmware and is fixing it before making it available again?
