So we have a new update...., loaded it onto my ionic that has suffered seriously since the last update, minor bug fixes it said, wow, none of the major bugs fixed then. Since the update the usual page after page of complaints of defective devices since the update.
So what has this update brought to my ionic to allow me to start using it again, well all the things that were ruined with the last update havent changed but well done fitbit, i now have the slowest and at times unresponsive screen ever.
Does fitbit think that everyone who has had their devices ruined by software, honestly think were going to dash out and buy yet another fitbit device to have that ruined in 18 months time by another poor update or is this seriously the market strategy of fitbit, i suspect it is, built in obsolescence, a good piece of hardware ruined by a bunch of poor software developers.
To all those on these pages who are writing in with their problems since this latest update and asking for fitbit to do something about it...............it aint gonna happen.
When the last update caused so many problems, i was assured my feedback was given to fitbit and i would receive an email from fitbit, that despite the mods here stating it will happen, almost 6 months later im still waiting.
I feel for all of you who have spent so much money on a device that could work, but is being stopped from doing so by software people who either dont know what their doing, or clearly do as its corporate policy..............i suspect both.
